Google has disclosed that conversations with its GenAI chatbot apps, Gemini, are routinely processed by human annotators to improve its services. These conversations can be stored for up to three years, raising privacy concerns among users.
Users have some level of control over the data retention settings through Google's My Activity dashboard. However, even with certain privacy measures, conversations are still temporarily saved to enhance the safety and functioning of Gemini apps.
